Peter Garside - The founder
Peter no longer attends on a daily basis these days, prefering stay at home playing with his helicopters, motorbikes, woodfired bread oven and in his smoke house smoking salmon.
(He has always been a frustrated chef)
But we are ALWAYS pleased to see him on a Friday (pay day)
Mark Griffiths - Sales and Export Manager
Mark has been around Land Rovers all his life, and joined the Land Rover Centre team in 1991. He prides himself on being able to find the right Land Rover to suit customers requirements.
(like Steve and Colin he also had a full head of hair when he arrived !)
So if you want a cheap and cheerful Land Rover, a new Defender, or something in-between give Mark a call.
In his down time, he is a computer buff and also enjoys collecting old fire engines and die cast toys.
Steve Whitehead - Service Manager
Steve has been with the Land Rover Centre since day one, and has done most jobs in the garage. His knowledge of Land Rovers, knows no bounds. So if it's anything from a service for your Discovery to a rebuild of your old faithful Land Rover - Steve's your man !
Steve's hobbies are harley Davidson motorcycles, and Tai Chi..
Colin Boothroyd - Parts Department
Colin has also been here since the conception, known locally as the "Land Rover Oracle". If there's something that Colin doesn't know about Land Rovers, then it's probably not worth knowing !
Responsible for our online shop and EBAY sales.
When not at work, Colin spends many hours doing volunteer work on the trams at Crich.
Michael Lee - Parts Department
Michael has been with the Land Rover Centre since leaving school in 2000, and has worked in the Trimshop and the garage, before moving on to the Parts Department. He is now responsible for the day to day running of the parts department, allowing Colin to concentrate on our online shop and "EBAY" presence. Michael is a "NEW" father, so all spare time is taken up at the moment.
Mark Dyson - Trim Shop Manager
Mark has been with the team since leaving school in 1987, and is now responsible for the smooth day to day running of our Trim Shop - Which all credit to him, results in the superior presentation of our vehicles. Mark's hobbies are Land Rovers as he is always at work !
