Toylander 2 and Trailer.

Recently finished Toylander 2 and Trailer, powered by two 24v electric motors.

This toylander is built from 12mm exterior marine plywood and has been professionally sprayed in Landover "deep bronze green". The landrover is powered by 4 x 14Ahr sealed lead acid batteries giving 12v for lights and horn, and 24v for the drive. 

The vehicle accelerates with a variable speed controller until full speed is reached, so has an accelerator pedal like any normal car. Motors came from an electric mobility scooter and are chain driven to both rear wheels. Forward and reverse is selected via a switch on the dash . The vehicle has rear brakes only.

It has been finished to a very high standard.

Trailer is of the same construction but the lights have not been wired so are presently not functional. There is a colour difference between the two as can be seen from the photos .
